PELICAN WHARF BOUDREAUX BREAD

INGREDIENTS:

French bread:

• 1 loaf French bread (or what you like0 sliced open

• 1 tsp olive oil

Supreme sauce:

• 1 tsp olive oil

• 1 Tbsp garlic, pinch crushed red pepper

• 1/4 cup Gulf shrimp

• 1/4 cup crawfish

• 1 Tbsp bacon

• 1/4 cup domestic mushrooms

• 1/4 cup cream

• 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese

•1  tsp green onion, chopped for garnish 

 

DIRECTIONS: 

French bread preparation: 

1. Lightly brown bread in sauté pan so it is golden brown and crisp. Slice across  and lengthwise so it can be broken into bites.

Supreme sauce preparation:

1. Heat oil in sauté pan. Add garlic, crushed red pepper, shrimp, bacon and cook until shrimp are pink and garlic is lightly browned.

2. Add mushrooms and cream and reduce until thick. Add parmesan and place over French bread that has been browned.

3. Garnish with green onions
